Mughlai Food Cuisine

Mughlai cuisine is one of the most famous cuisines of India popular for its rich taste and distinctive aroma. Its origin can be traced back to the times of the Mughal Empire in India. This rich style of preparing food was developed and practiced in the kitchens of the Mughal Emperors of India, who were the real patrons of this cuisine. Amazing sweets are rustled up in this cuisine using rice, wheatflour, coconut, almonds, pistachio, sweetened with sugar and scented with rose-water. Shahi Tukra is one such popular sweet dish prepared by bread pudding along with numerous dry fruits. Other known delicacies are Sheer Korma, Gulab Jamun, Falooda, Barfi, Kheer.
